Preparations are well underway for the shooting of our next small film, One For The Road.
One for the Road is a short vampire film written & directed by Sarah Leigh and based upon a short story by Stephen King. Our film is unique because we are fore-fronting disability through the lens of a horror film whilst at the same time challenging stereotypes and outdated tropes. The film will have an 80s vibe and we're excited to begin this journey.
The team will consist of at least 50% of cast & crew identifying as d/Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent. The film is written, and will be directed by, Sarah Leigh of INCLUSIVITY FILMS who is co-producing alongside Diane Janssen & Hannah Chapman of BEDAZZLE INCLUSIVE PRODUCTIONS. The companies worked together on the short film TYPICAL?, which is currently on the festival circuit. Tom Watts is attached as Director of Photography, and so far we have Taha Rahim, Caitlin Sinclair, Jamie Jeyes and Rhiannon Kearns attached as cast.
We have set up an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to help us raise money for the making of the film. There is a video to find out more information and some excellent and exclusive ‘vampire’ perks. All donations will go towards the filming and production of this project - if you are unable to contribute, please do share the link. We appreciate you very much.
